This property started to work some friends who were the owners in 2002. On that date could not be accessed until the property in any vehicle because there was no road. In 2006 bought it a cousins and they were working it for 3 years, without adding substantial value to the property. Single term of one kilometers of road to get to campus, where is located the current infrastructure but it does not have the minimum conditions necessary to live there. I was in there personally in 2007. This year 2009, I visit back it in March. For its location I like it. I bought the farm and start to work on May 27. We were focus on mainly in two areas: 1 - The Plantation. The plantation was in obvious neglect. It needed an immediate clean-up. And as soon as possible to control an attack by ¨Ojo de Gallo¨, which is a fungal disease of fatal consequences for the coffee plantations. The variety planted is Catuai Rojo, and we have 5 hectares of a total of 36 hectares. When finished cleaning, we analyze the current state at that time and we found that; 1.1-We must end the recollection of this year 2009, for unknown reasons was not well done, For the month of July we made two applications of foliar nutrients and fungicide. This activity will end in September because the applications are made every 21 days and we have to make at least five applications. The road was finished for the June 12. For the conditions we have in the winter season we stay in constant repair. Only small 4X4 vehicles can access ![]() |
